who am i?

after watching a meaningful commercial, one of the dialogue left a great impact on me.

there's this girl asked the grandpa,
girl: why am i not like the others?
grandpa: why do u have to be like the others?

this short conversation got me thinking,
if everyone is the same,
what is the point of living
God creates everyone differently
yet people change just to be like others

if everyone is the same
why God create you and me in the first place.
each of us is different
each of us is unique
each of us can shine in our very own way
but why do we have to hide away our uniqueness just to blend in

be who you are
this way
you are special
you are unique
you are not the others
you are who you are
